Chef Daniel's culinary specialties include wild game, steak and seafood, and hearty soups—dishes that reflect both his southern roots and his love for bold, honest flavors. Above all, Chef Daniel values faith and family. He shares his life and business with his girlfriend and business partner, interior designer Kylena Simpson, and is a proud father to Gavin, Emily Grace, and David James, and bonus dad to Jillian, Mia, Piper, Sabin, and Lilly Grace. His family also includes two beloved grandchildren, Maverick and Westin, who remind him daily what life’s true ingredients are.
