Meet the Owner

Lamb Family.jpeg

Justin Lamb

Owner / Guide

Justin Lamb grew up in the flatwoods of Florida, spending his childhood hunting and fishing in the backwaters alongside his grandfather and uncle. His early connection to the outdoors instilled a deep appreciation for nature, hard work, and tradition—values that continue to guide him today.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Northwood University, Justin joined his family’s automotive business, where he gained valuable experience in leadership and entrepreneurship. His lifelong passion for the outdoors and agriculture later inspired him to open Crystal Tractor and Equipment, a business that now proudly serves customers from Central Florida to South Georgia.

Staying true to his roots, Justin pursued his dream of owning a high-fence ranch—a place where others can share in his love for the outdoors and create unforgettable memories. His two sons have inherited that same passion and know every inch of the ranch, eagerly awaiting the day they can guide hunts of their own.

None of this, Justin says, would have been possible without the unwavering support of his wife. Her hard work, patience, and dedication keep their busy life on track while helping raise their family and grow their businesses together.

Austin Cannon

Hunting Guide Manager / Guide

Hi, I’m Austin Cannon, and I’ve been guiding hunts here at 6 Mile Hunting Ranch for the past three years. Everything about this place is special—the land, the wildlife, and the incredible people I meet with every hunt.

One of my favorite parts of the job is helping others experience their first hunt. Being part of that moment never gets old. My favorite animal to guide for is the axis deer—they’re impressive and challenging.

Being a guide at 6M isn’t just a job—it’s a passion. This ranch offers something special, and I encourage anyone curious about hunting or wanting to experience the outdoors to come see what it’s all about. I promise it will be an experience you’ll never forget.

Processing wild game isn't just a job for me — it's a craft, a responsibility, and an honor.

Chelsea Newton

Office Manager

Born and raised in Florida, Chelsea Newton grew up deep in the Florida woods. From running dogs with her family to weekends at hunting camp, her childhood was built on nature, hard work, and tradition.

Her love for the outdoors only grew after becoming a mom to two energetic boys. Chelsea is passionate about passing down values like respect for the land, family bonds, and the importance of outdoor living.

When she’s not in the woods or working around the ranch, she’s cheering on her boys at football or baseball games. A true Florida country girl, she’s just as comfortable in muddy boots as in a stadium seat. Her life revolves around faith, family, and the freedom that comes with living close to the land.

Jessica Reilly

Hospitality & Hunt Coordinator

My name is Jessica Reilly. I’m a lifelong resident of Levy County and a Chiefland High graduate. I love this area and believe there’s no better place to raise my two young sons, Waylon and Case.

After many years in the insurance industry, I decided to change careers and joined the team here at 6 Mile Ranch. It gave me the chance to spend more time outdoors and step away from the typical office routine.

This opportunity pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me a completely different way of life, both personally and professionally. I’m thankful every day to work in such a beautiful place surrounded by amazing animals and great people.

Maycol Torres

Groundskeeper

I’m Maycol, 23 years old, and I’ve worked at the ranch for a couple of years now. I grew up preferring a “city” lifestyle, but since working out here in the woods and around the animals, I’ve grown to love rural life.

I take pride in keeping the grounds clean and looking great. My favorite task is mowing, and my favorite animals here are the Waterbucks and Wildebeest.
